Frequently Asked Questions...
What Makes Our Rope Different
Durability
How long do your outdoor door mats last?
We engineer our marine-grade fishing rope so that it can be used year-round in all weather, and still last for years. We have perfected our weaving equipment and training to ensure each doormat is tightly woven and will keep its shape. Our catch-and-release weave allows dirt and sand to pass through, so our mats never get bogged down with dirt. Lastly, our fast-drying rope will never mildew, mold, or bleed.
What is your warranty?
We guarantee against manufacturers' defects for 3 years from the date of purchase. If you ever have any issues, just reach out. We'll be there for you.
Why it is important to choose a weatherproof outdoor door mat
Do I need an outdoor mat?
The answer is yes - to help prevent dirt, dust, debris, grime and other elements from being tracked into your home. Plus they add a splash of color to your front door and create a friendly, inviting welcome, elevating the overall look of your home.
Does mold grow under outdoor mats?
Mold is a real problem for many rugs that are outside in all weather. It’s important to choose one made from fast-drying synthetic material, especially if you live in a rainy area. Outdoor doormats get wet all of the time, which can lead to growth of molds and mildew that break down your doormat. Worse, this is tracked right into your home every time someone crosses the threshold.
Why is it important that an outdoor mat "catch and release" dirt rather than trap it?
Traditional doormats trap dirt within them, making them vehicles for germs. They get bogged down and become hard to clean and fall apart more quickly. Our outdoor rugs are woven with a "catch and release" design that lets dirt pass through. Just lift and sweep it away every now and then. It stays clean and fresh looking - no vacuuming required!
Can I use my Wicked Good Doormat year round?
Absolutely! These colorful welcome mats add cheer to your door all year long and can withstand the weather from all 4 seasons.
How do Wicked Good Doormats compare to rubber or coir?
Coir front door mats are great for indoor use. They are not recommended for outdoor use because they shed easily, especially when exposed to bad weather. Made from natural fiber, coir mats will rot when exposed to moisture, and mold can grow on them in just 24 hours.
Rubber entrance mats are sturdy in wet weather but often crack in cold temperatures. They also tend to become very hot to touch when exposed to direct sunlight.
What are the best outdoor mats?
The best outdoor mats can handle any weather, dry fast, don't bleed or stain, are a breeze to clean, and last for years without losing its charm. Wicked Good Doormats are engineered to be exactly that: ready to take on whatever nature throws their way.

How do I clean my outdoor doormat?
