Great doormat! Haven’t had it long but it seems very durable. Only thing is the color seems to look a little deep-purple in person, but I think that’s because of the colors it’s against.

The colors blend nicely with our deck in NC. The humidity here is brutal so this dries out quickly and we can hose it off without worry. We are MA transplants to NC so we are thrilled to purchase a product made in Maine!

We have a composite deck and any doormat with a rubber backing will ruin the surface. I was looking for a durable outdoor doormat that didn’t have any rubber material and it was impossible at any of the big box stores. I’m so glad I came across this lobster rope doormat from New England Trading Company. Well made and the cranberry / tan color really compliments the color of our decking. My wife thought it was a bit pricy but she changed her mind once she saw how well it was made.
